Wooden boats have the most beautiful souls. It's in the way they rock. They way they creak and moan. Almost like they sing to their sailor.
Steel and plastic each have their own
songs.
Steel's is cold and hard. A
steel boat needs a warm and caring owner. With one, they will sail forever. Plastic boats are light and jumpy. They need a patient, steady sailor to keep them on course.
I think every boat has a soul, and that soul is fortified by they sailor who commands her.
I know mine does. We have spoken and I told her that if she wants or is in need of a soul, she can have some of mine.
Hence her soon to be name.
