I've been having a hard time finding a 'good ole used boat' as a 'starter boat'. Seems most owners down here are not so caring about their vessels. My wife after the last
boat rejection, said 'maybe you should increase your
price range'.
So, I was wondering about a
new boat purchase; 30-33' range, mono, performance cruiser,
shallow draft for coastal sailing.
Other than the occasional advert in the sailing magazines, I can't find and deals/discounts etc on the manufactures sites.
So besides working with each of them individually , how can I aggregate various models to see at a high level which is the best deal?
Where is Consumer Reports when you need them!!
Finally, do all the new boats get
sold? I mean can I find a new 2013/4
boat that was never owned/sold? I'd like to avoid the depreciation hit.
