[SOLD] Spinnaker for Mercer 44

FREE: I have a spinnaker for a Mercer 44 Sloop. It was used by Joile Madame, now Spirit, when she raced in the SORC in the '60s. It is old but in good shape.


I live in Kilmarnock, VA on the Chesapeake Bay near the Chesapeake Boat Basin on Indian Creek off Fleets Bay. I can deliver it there or I could ship it.


FYI: The Mercer 44sail dimensions are: P=44.8 ft, I= 50.3 ft, J=17.4 ft and E=20.0 ft

Spirit was owned by my uncle, Bill Caldwell, who sailed her to the Pacific, I think in the late 70's. One of the most beautiful boats in my opinion.

Yes Jolie Madame, now Spirit, is a beautiful boat and Bill and Alice are neat people although it has been about 3-4 years since I have seen either of them.

I recently sold Spirit to Chris Cullen who lives in Vermont. Spirit is now on Lake Champlain.

Have you been in contact wit Bill or Alice? They must be in their nineties if they are still living. Bill is quite a character. Alice is lovely.
