I have a well running Perkins 4108 coming up for sale in Long Beach, CA. I am taking off for a multi year excursion and repowering. Perkins runs great, does not smoke. Includes motor, newer gage assembly panel, Velvet Drive tranny and Walters V-drive. It will be available mid October for pick up (from the crane into your vehicle) at the Long Beach Marina Shipyard. You can come see the engine run in advance until about the 3rd week of September prior to prep for removal. $3,500 obo. Contact me.

Yes I have it. We will be pulling it probably the last week of this September. Just had it out yesterday and still running strong. If you are interested and can make arrangements to be there when it is lifted out send me your contact info and we can discuss further.

I will take that engine off your hands as mine has just died on me and and probably beyond salvaging. I am based in Seattle but will drive down and pick up when you take out. Let me know more of the date you have in mind so I can make appropriate arrangements. Will probably be looking to do a major refit and engine replacement myself in a couple of years so interested on what is involved replacing with the Yanmar unit.

Actually I decided to go with a Beta 50. After much research and consideration and given I plan to cruise to relatively remote areas my thought that a Yanmar and its reliance on single rail highly electronic motor would not be the best way to go. So.....if your serious about driving down here send me your contact info and we can discuss from there.
