It was on the boat I just bought. I think the controller was busted but the drive works. It just says auto helm 5000 on it. I don’t know much more than that!

See if you can determine if it's a Type 1 or Type 2. Big difference. Someone more knowledgeable than me could probably tell from the photo....

The boat displaces 15,000 so I’m pretty sure it’s the smaller one (type 1) I believe. I’m not sure how it connects to the computer or control head..

Is there a mounting block? I see only two wires for connection, is that correct?
