I have eight (8) cells
for sale. These are CA180 FI CALB cells with sequential
serial numbers. They were used in a sailboat with 4S2P configuration (360AH). They are 3 years old, used less than 6 months, and have been in
storage (unwired) since Oct 2015. The individual cells have been resting at 3.32V since then.
In September 2015 the 4S2P pack was accidentally discharged below 10V (my bad
). The pack was immediately disassembled and the individual cells were slowly recharged to 3.4V each. The 8 cells were then wired in parallel and allowed to rest for one week before being placed back in 4S2P pack configuration. Fully-charged resting voltage for the pack was 13.3V after several subsequent discharge/charge test cycles. There was/is no cell imbalance. However, fully-charged resting pack voltage prior to being over-discharged had been 13.4V thus indicating some loss of
storage capacity. The cell cases are not swollen or otherwise damaged. I have no reason to believe they are not serviceable, albeit at a slightly lower total capacity. Note that CALB cells are factory rated at 10% under full capacity, meaning a 180AH cell is actually 200AH.
These cells will only be
sold as a set. Please do not ask for individual cell sales. I'm asking $900 for the set, and will guarantee them for 30 days as long as they are properly installed and monitored. That should provide adequate time to test them. I am also willing to share significant practical
LiFePO4 installation and use experience with the buyer. I'm a big fan.
To avoid
shipping, I would prefer to deal with someone locally in SW FL.
If
shipping is requested, buyer pays. Hazmat shipping charges apply. It will likely be expensive (depending on distance). I paid $220 from Utah.
