St Martin Caraibes

If I'm charting a sailing vessel out of St Martin for the first two weeks in December where are good places to go?

Anguilla, Nevis, St Kitts, St Barth, and if you want a terrific beat to windward, Antigua.

Re: St Martin Caraibes

If you have two weeks, and you can get permission from your charter company, go to Saba. Dramatic, beautiful, and interesting. Great diving, if that's your cup of tea.

The issue is that you must use one of the moorings, no anchoring, and there are a very limited number of them. Since it is a bit of a sail from any of the neighboring islands, the last thing the charter companies want is for you to show up near dusk and have no place to tie up, requiring a night sail to another island. They control this by putting it off limits. But my experience is all you ahve to do is ask, and they are happy to let you go.
