Bike small enough for 26 foot boat

I have a 26'Nimble Artic and a 19' West Wight Potter.

I have had a 32' Ericson 32.

On the Ericson I carried a standard 26" bicycle on the port side forward lifelines

On My potter I have carried Skates.

I am contemplating something less tiring and with more carrying capacity than skates for the Nimble.

The lockers on board are 21x10x12 inches and 29x18x11inches.

Is there a bike I can carry inside these lockers?

You may just be able to get a Brompton in this space ... I carry mine in a bag that is about 20x20x10 that goes under the saloon table. You might be able to squeeze it in under your 18" limit but I really don't know, I kinda doubt it ... the problem is the wheels alone are 16" ... the 11" will also be tight ... see if you can borrow one and experiment it will be close.

Of course, if you're prepared to take both wheels off every time you stow it ... there are various other folding bikes with 16" wheels that you may be able to collapse enough to fit in that space. Unfortunately you will have to get hold of one and experiment, since manufacturers don't generally advertise how small they can be disassembled.

You should be able to find a smaller folding bike that will work. I have a Montague bike that I like but it has full sized wheels and won't fit where you want it.

Failing that, you could at least get a scooter.

This doesn’t fold but it should be small enough anyway.

Re: Bike small enough for 26 foot boat

not exactly an answer to your question, but we decided to get electric scooters instead of bikes. Unagi has a subscription only $50 per month, and they fold up nice and small.

I had on of these. Worked quite well.

Given that none of them will fit, I would get a Dahon Mariner.
The closest to a full size bike.
