Spotify alternative

Hi all, i used to use Spotify, $11 /mth unlimited variety of music.

Being a fulltime liveaboard I dont have the luxury of streaming, i use my cell phone internet therefore the cost is inhibits streaming and often im away from reception.

Spotify allows you to download Playlists so you have your music offline, great right? nope!

The problem is regularly the downloaded Playlists just dissappear,it sucks. Ive goggled this and it seems to be a common complaint.You then have to through the whole download thing again, which isnt always possible.

Is there an alternative that allows music to be downloaded and stay on your phone?

What are others using.

I have fm radio reception at the momentum and are really enjoying upto date music while doing boat jobs.

You have to let your device go online once a month to keep your downloads. There are family plan options that bring the cost down.

I use Reverbnation.. this link takes you to the download app to save playlists to your machine..

Check out Amazon Music, the paid subscription, is reasonable I think about 10.00 a mouth. It allows you to download the music locally. I tried it for a while on my Laptop, but don’t remember the iPhone/iPad capabilities.

Not for everyone but if you use cm93 for charting.........
