I would like to have a stainless arch made for my boat to add solar panels and possibly a wind generator. I was also considering having the arch incorporated into a new stern pulpit, as the space in the area is already tight (canoe stern). I'm currently in on the US East Coast, but headed south soon (Bahamas/Carribean), how do prices for stainless fabrication compare here to there?
I'd put an ad on Craigslist for an out of work pipe fitter. Most good ones will have their own rigs and can fabricate what ever you need. Materials shouldn't be a problem either, most cities have a metal by the foot vendor.
Pipewelders in Ft Lauderdale. Maybe not the cheapest but first class work.
