Trying to source a sliding door wheel

I've been searching all over and cannot for the life of me find a replacement wheel for my hatch door. It's a simple nylon wheel, current about 1.5" tall, probably originally closer to 1.75" and also probably metric. It doesn't have bearings, just a countersunk hold for the axle.

Nothing I've found is large enough, or would allow mounting in the small space that I have there. I'd really like to avoid replacing the track since that will require disassembling my steering and nav station.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Also the image is upside down, no idea what happened there...

Re: Trying to source a sliding door wheel

Try searching "Roller wheels", "Sliding door wheels", "luggage wheels" etc etc on www.aliexpress.com
Might take some searching and or modifying but I am sure you will find something.

Look for 45mm rollers. They're quite common on AliExpress or similar. Check the image as example. You should replace all of the in the hatch. That'll make your life a lot easier to match height etc.

Re: Trying to source a sliding door wheel

I had been avoiding AliExpress because it looked too much like Alibaba, and I didn't want to deal with the ordering system. I've got some on the way that will hopefully work. I think if this doesn't get it I'm just going to have them machined out of Delrin and be done with it.

Thanks for the replies!

If the current inbound units do not work, have a local 3D printer hobbyist print one for you. Cheap & fast to print as its a simple shape, and can be to the exact measurements you have. Just ask around locally, as 3D printer hobbyist's are always looking for some new shape to print.

Re: Trying to source a sliding door wheel

Hi, I bought my sliding door wheels on ebay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/71-mm-Nyl...-/191811774059

This is a UK site, but it looks like they are sourced in the US.

Re: Trying to source a sliding door wheel

I just bought 2 on Amazon. They are S.S. and 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" diameters. I got them for the cable centerboard pennant on my Mac 26X. What a difference over the solid shaft the cable was bent over. Capt. Vince Rakstis, Ret. MS St.Petersberg, Fl.

PS: Look under stainless steel sliding door rollers.....

To me it looks a lot like a garage door track wheel.

I ended up making my own for the two sliding doors on my Nauticat. I bought a rod of Delton, which is more durable than nylon, had a machine shop slice it to the right thickness ,drill a hole in the center and put a metal sleeve in it for a bearing.
Still working after six years.

CaptVR here, your looking at the wrong one. Also, if you do not word or write the search exactly as I listed, they won't come up. Also only one will come up, if you click on it and scroll down, there are others. Why they won't come up in a search is beyond me. Search exactly, "stainless steal sliding door rollers" and if you dont have an s on rollers they won't come up. Hope this helps,
Capt. Vince Rakstis
PS: There are also nylon that come up, one listing on page one, more on page 3..

Re: Trying to source a sliding door wheel

Turns out the answer is "Sliding bearing wheel pulleys" from AliExpress. Despite them specifically not being pulleys. In hindsight maybe I should have suspect when all the roller wheels I was finding in search were actually pulley wheels.

I'm not sure who has the worse search at this point, AliExpress or Amazon.

In the end, the janky door that would barely open, now moves so fast I need some weather stripping to slow it down before someone looses a finger.
