Thread about Threads

Can anyone recommond the correct type of thread to use for Sunbrella fabric and exterior awnings. Also, can these be sewn using a regular machine or do you require an industrial machine?

Yup, you need a UV-resistant thread, or you'll find seams popping within a season or two. Here's one source that I've bought from; we were able to use a standard Singer Machine (with heavy-duty needles) with the V-92 Hunter Green with same colored Sunbrella, though it labored quite a bit on quadruple folds:
