Fix them leaks before ya repair the metal and the corrosion.

Use a garden hose and go after every little deck/window/chain-plate leak.
Even one drop is too much...Then ya repair the damage the leaks have been doing over the years...After ya fix the leaks...

Had leaks on my boat too, and I take it personally...Not even one drop is acceptable..Stop every drop...

CSY Man - I agree completely. I have already re bedded all of the deck hardware, portlights, mast step, hand rails, hatch sliders, winches and everything I could find. So far I have found one bolt on the turning blocks with one drip with all of the rain that we have had. I do still have a small leak in heavy rain at the bottom of the hatch washboards that I need to dry out and seal better. I have a temp fix on it right now.

Why replace it with a similar one. Why not construct a glass replacement.

Why in heck did they use what looks like cold rolled steel? I know..cost. Amazing how some manufacturers cut corners.

David M - that is what I have been asking myself a lot also. I assume that you are right - cost.
