We're going down to the FL Keys and are looking for recommendation for service companies or people. We need to get the watermaker working, have the SSB hooked up, and figure out why the wind generator is not functioning to full capacity.

Can't say enough about J.T. Halden at Halden Marine Services in Ft Lauderdale. J.T. helped get my Spectra WaterMaker running about 3 years ago after the previous owner had pickled the machine. At the time I asked what parts I would need while cruising and I purchased a spare feed pump, pump head. About three weeks ago the pump head gave up in St Lucia. After a 10 minute phone call to JT, we had the problem diagnosed and I had the replacement part on board. An hour and a half later and we were making water.

He has provided me with incredible service and I highly recommend.

I had a minor brain dump. It did not occur to me until today that Telley and JT are one in the same. We met him in Annapolis. Tom is installing the boost pump tomorrow. We'll see what happens. We'll give JT a call in any event. Thanks so much!
