Replacement pin for goose neck

[url=https://www.cruisersforum.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=14984&c=503][img
I need a pin for my goose neck. The hole will take a 2 inch #6 screw.

Searching with Google or duck duck go returns pins that are too big.
Wm pins are too short

Have you a good method for finding these?

Re: Replacement pin for goose neck

Here are 2" stainless steel screws of various diameters. Unfortunately, they are fully threaded, but will do the job.

The bolt head for the other side of the joint looks suspiciously like a 1/4-20. If that's the case and the other hole is like unto it, a long partially threaded SS bolt with the threaded part cut off would work.

Another approach would be to use a 1/8" SS rod. With that small a diameter, a propane torch should get it up to red hot and let you make a sharp "L". Drill the bottom end and add a washer and a cotter key and you are in business.

If that hole actually is only 1/8", then an "R" clip could do the job and be quick release as well:

Lots of ways to skin this cat. I'm not sure which best suits you, but have at it.

Re: Replacement pin for goose neck

I had a machinist make the pins for my goosenecks.

Otherwise - can you drill out the holes to take a 3/16" pin? Pins of that diameter with lengths over 2" are easy to find (e.g., McMaster-Carr).
