Refurbishing a Zinc Anode

Wouldn't it be better to get rid of the water from the bilges and then stop it coming in again permanently especially on a steel boat.

Well, there is that too.

I just added a connection point in the Lazarette for a guppy zinc. It's a ss bolt, connected to the engine with 10 gauge copper wire. The guppy zinc has a crimped ring terminal, which fastens to the bolt with a wing nut.

This was so easy to add, and gives a very sound connection to ground.
