Good source for cockpit tables?

In the hunt to replace an ancient cockpit table in a 2004 Beneteau 393. Any body have a line on a good source to make something like a pedestal-type plastic table that would serve four? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Good source for cockpit tables?

Logan- your post suggests that you want to build rather than buy. If that's the case, we could talk about inexpensive designs. That would require in turn details like whether you have an existing table, whether you want the table up all the time or easily removable, and so on. So, unless coopec43's gallery of photos did the job for you, could you more tightly define your goal?

Best of luck with it.

Re: Good source for cockpit tables?

Thanks for the replies. We've done the usual Google searches, but can't seem to find anything except the small luncheon tables that drop down from the steering pedestal. We would prefer a "console" that comes forward from the pedestal with fold-up leaves that create a table that would provide space for 4 people. Hoping someone may know of a good supplier for this type item. The footprint of the base would need to be about 28" (fore/aft) x 4.75" (abeam). Any thoughts?

You might try this outfit - they’re up here in the northwest but could easily ship.

Zarcor sells tables. Don’t fold out.
Sailboat stern rail seats, companionway doors, privacy shutters, blinds, window treatment, drink & electronics holders, and other sailing accessories custom manufactured by Zarcor.

This is what I use. You can slide different size table. That’s the small one.

We enjoy our Zarcor cockpit table made from starboard. I believe they have a larger size ours is too small for four. I believe they are made in Texas and the customer service is good. Not beautiful but you won't worry about varnish or dings.

Our boat follows the "teak reduction act" and I remove some teak from the topsides every year. Our folding starboard table is much lighter and easier to use than the original teak table. Easier to clean and no sanding or varnish. I don't remember who fabricated it, but it needed extensive work to make it fit.
