Retire from sea?.....Heck...its taken over five years just to get back to sea!
The project is on a go slow due to the shortage of steel here.

The yard should have started last week but looks like it could be another 10 days before they lay the sole plate.

I havent been lazy though, ive been busy drawing plans, sourcing materials and parts and ive built and converted my engine and gearbox ready to drop in as soon as the engine bearers are in place.

Been some movement on the Dhow project....Started building the Jetty.
Its about 80ft long so far and need another 60 to 80 to go.
Basically its just rubble....big rocks and small rocks being dumped in the sea...I'll probably end up pouring a concrete end on it and tie it back into the rubble.
As soon as its done I'll launch the Dhow and try and get it over there.
In one picture you can see the island of Mayun in the distance (The Straits of Bab Al Mandab) this is the destination of the materials...only about 3KM land to land...but the harbor is about 8.

My gosh how times flies eh?

Are you going to keep tipping rocks in the sea and build a causeway?
If you tip too many in the sea level will rise, then you will need to tip more in, ......and it will rise some more, etc etc
