Bomar G9271111 Hatch

Does anyone have any of these on their boat, a spare, in grandma's garage, anywhere?

If so, can you do me a HUGE favor. I need the measurement between the mounting screw holes from the top to bottom.

I called Jamestown, I called West, I even Called Bomar, and no one has this measurement.

Re: Bomar G9271111 Hatch

I have a number of Bomar hatches on my boat. Which hatch size and model is this? I would be glad to measure this for you, if I have the correct hatch.

By the way, not surprised to hear that Bomar was no help to you.

Re: Bomar G9271111 Hatch

Thanks! I even called multiple West locations that apparently had it in stock, just have them tell me they couldn't find it.

It's a 927 part number G9271111
17 1/2" x 12 1/2" opening
17 7/8" x 12 7/8" cutout
19 7/8" x 14 7/8" flange

I'm though bolting them into a window. The hatch will just fit, but the spacing of the mounting holes is going to be the real determining factor.

Worst case, I'm using a few of them in another location too, so I can just measure them myself, but it would be nice to know ahead of time and order all of the hatches, whether all 927's or a few of them, and 2 of the next size down, all at once.

Re: Bomar G9271111 Hatch

I just visited the Bomar site. I apparently have the 100 series almag hatches, not the 900 series. Sorry to get your hopes up.

No worries. Like I said I'm going to be using them in another spot anyway. I can just order the other ones I need, measure. And then order the remaining ones after confirming id it will fit or not.
