Westerbeke W27 Yanmar Equivalent?
There might be a thread addressing this but could not locate it.

Have a full keel heavy sailboat (3 years into "refit") with a Westerbeke 27. It is being rebuilt as we speak. I am looking for plan B in case the engine rebuild is not "successful". Westerbekes are extremely good engines (this one has a Misubishi block) but If I need to look for a replacement I would look at Yanmar for simple parts availability issues. Anyone know what would be the closest Yanmar model for a W27 replacement?
