Hello...New to forum

The MD7A in my Islander Bahama 30 (8230 lbs) pushes it to hull speed when the conditions are favorable; however, it is often on the light side in my opinion. The engine is pretty reliable, but parts are often hard to find and they're getting pretty expensive too.

Due to the raw water cooling, these engines are prone to some pretty severe internal corrosion. It would be much easier to take care of that now with the engine out of a boat.

Good luck!
