Volvo MD2B and Volvo 2030

Hi my boat has a Volvo MD2B that is dead. It is mounted on a 7.5% angle. I have a newly rebuilt good running Volvo 2030 and I was thinking of swapping it out. I have two questions that might be obivious:
1: Is there problems with mounting the 2030 at a 7.5% angle?
2: Would the prop rotation be the same?

The 2030 engine will have no problem mounted at an angle of 7.5 degrees.

Without knowing what transmission the MD2B is fitted with makes it difficult to comment on the prop shaft rotation, but most likely the MD2B was equipped with an RB gear or an MS gear. Both of these spun a left hand rotation prop.

Early 2030 engines were supplied with an MS2 transmission, and the MS2 can turn a LH or RH prop.

Later 2030 engines were fitted with MS10 transmissions which were private labeled VP but built by Hurth/ ZF. The recommended rotation for these gears was RH, but depending on the input power and gear ratio they can be run LH with a little more power losses and noise.
