Twin Disc MG-507-1 high pressure

One of my Twin Disc MG-507-1 gears is reading 275psi. I put a mechanical pressure gauge in line with the sender to verify this pressure. This unit and the other side had been running around 170psi. From what I have read, the probable cause is a stuck Main Regulator Valve. The valve seems to be housed under the shift control. The schematic seems relatively straight forward, but...

I was wondering if anyone out in Trawler Land has personally dug into a similar disassembly and reassembly.
