Lenses for VDO tachometers

I have two VDO rev counters mounted in the cockpit of my boat.
One is marked N 02 040 305.....Date KW 7/96... Volt 12-24.
The other is marked 430. 230/14/1 1 2 5.82
Each has an inner cylindrical housing of OD of 84 mm. and an outer square face of 125mm.

Each has an outer protective clear plastic moulding of approx 98mm in diameter, set into and surrounded by a square black plastic bezel, and an inner circular plastic lens closely fitting inside the outer circular lens.

I have broken the outer plastic moulding of the first-mentioned instrument and that of the second is developing some internal cracks. The second also has an intermittent fault (needle sticks but a sharp knock unsticks it).

Local (NZ) instruments specialists say they can repair mechanical and electronic faults but the lenses need to be bought and VDO no longer sell these.

Does anyone know of a source for lenses like these? Or, potentially, a source for replacement tacos (zero to 3000 RPM, Perkins 4-236 engines (twins))?

In hope!
Keith
