If it contaminates again you could also send the fuel to a lab for analysis to be sure it is oil as the contaminate.

could you change the fuel lines to clear (temporarily) like i've seen suggested to find air bubbles leaking into the system to maybe see the contaminate appear in the fuel after the lift pump but not before? (just a thought).
