Alternatives to yanmar sail drive o'rings

Hi all,

Just planning work on my yanmar sd50 sail drive in march when my beneteau b40 is due for its annual haul out.

I've got some oil leaks where I need to change the oil seals and I've managed to find alternatives to the yanmar products and saved a fortune

So if anyone wants sizes for yanmar items to source elsewhere

24413-456209 use AC2651A 42x62x9mm SC or R31

And for

196440-02871 use 34x52x8mm R32 Viton

Doing this saved me $$$

So, this is where I need your help...I'm looking for alternatives on the following o'rings to avoid the Yanmar costly rip off prices here in UK

Yanmar part 24321-000750, 24321-000850 and 24321-000950

I'm assuming the diameters are 75mm, 85mm and 95mm respectively however I don't know the thicknesses can anyone advise i.e. 2mm 3mm etc

Cheers

Re: Alternatives to yanmar sail drive o'rings

Make sure your alternatives have seawater resistent steel springs as the one facing outside will be gone in no time if not. Or replace the springs with O-rings. This is contributing to the price difference.
