That's great!

That 'water leak' is a sign that the seal is about to go - its designed to do that to let you know when its failing.

You need to rebuild the pump ASAP before it starts getting seawater into the engine.

I am going to the yanmar guy tomorrow to get the seals. No plans to run it anymore until I change the seals and also do an oil change and install the new racor filter. Definitely don't need to do any damage to the engine, hoping it lasts me many years.
