Sugar Scoop Rubber and Adhesive

Good day everyone!

Any idea where I can order replacement rubber for the sugar scoops? Also, what adhesive and technique is used to affix it?

We bought a 2012 Leopard 44 from Sunsail and the replacement rubber the base installed didn't fare well with the crossing. I've added an attachment so you can see an example.

The base in Croatia used some screws and light adhesive (perhaps silicon) and I'm not 100% sure that was the correct process.

Any ideas? Many thanks!

Silicon is an excellent choice for silicone based rubber profiles
Check the compound used to create your rubber profile

The hassle with silicone adhesive I s long dry time and clamping

Normally I make up dozens of plywood C clamps plus a box if small wooden wedges

Cure time 48 hours

Pete7, you're the best! When the rain lightens I'll walk back and measure what I have/need.

Many, many thanks!

+1 Pete7. I've been looking for that stuff for so long that half the ads that show up when browsing without an ad-blocker are for some rubber trim company and yet none of them had the right profile. One random click here on CF and there it is.

For all their different profiles:https://www.wilks.co.uk/marine/boat-fendering.html?p=1
