Just happened to get figures from Marina Schionning for the 480. I assume it's AUS dollars. The kids on ROAM likely opted for the cheaper kit, and did most (all?) the work on her themselves. No doubt it wasn't cheap, but I think it would wind up being an extremely affordable 48 foot boat if one could do all , or most of their own work.

KIT OPTIONS

Kit Option 1 (Complete): The most comprehensive Spirited 480 Kit includes moulded components which fast track the build process, the moulded components include hulls, decks, rudders and daggerboards.

Kit Option 2 (Flat Pack): The ‘Flat-pack’ kit package excludes any pre-built parts for the builder on a budget and also facilitates in the delivery as it can be transported in a shared container arrangement. MDF temporary frames are included as well as all material and information/plans to build your own components.
