Re: Faster Catamarans have a much less comfortable ride

The only time this is true is when you are sailing upwind in seas over about 4-5 feet. After 14 years on a 42' catamaran, the only time I wished I was on a monohull was going upwind in seas over 6 feet! The rest of the time it's a no brainer! Catamarans are much more comfortable stem to stern, port to starboard.
