I noticed a for sale advert for the Dandee some time back but only just now looked at the video. In my view the engine box looks very large and MUCH too low, that will cause a lot of wave pounding.

Yes I can see that, but if the outboard was running you would see a tunnel of aerated water coming from the center of stern wether the outboard was 6' forward or hanging of the rear beam. The outboard is in the water but not propelling the boat from what I can see.

The beam of the Rackham 26 Wing in the quoted website has not been reported correctly, according to the designer's website it is 4.80m / 15'9''.
Makes quite a difference!

I can't comment on the physics of the boat, but aesthetically.... I think it has that "space pod from an alien future" look that I like most about catamarans.
