Re: What's Your Dream Boat ?

My dream is to find my dream boat this year.... 2-3 berths 35+ feet cat in great ready to go condition that has been loved by some other family but not abused or neglected. And that can give us many years of pride pleasure and safe passages.

Re: What's Your Dream Boat ?

For us it would be a REAL Fiberglass 35 to 45 ft trimarian, no plywood glass overs! With diesel engine and genny. For less then 125,000 US dollars, a ketch would be nice, but a cutter or sloop would be just fine! So far none found!!

It just takes a good hard in depth inspection to see why they demand the prices they do. The workmanship and attention to detail is impeccable, old time craftsmanship with modern design. I'm not impressed by many makers these days but have always been impressed with Morris's consistent quality and pride in workmanship. It's why they produce such loyalty in their customer base.

If I had my druthers a Hylas 49 or more to my heart the Outbound 52, performance, comfort and solid sea manners, too bad there aren't many in the used market.

got down to $5000.00. She was an absolute beauty, graceful

in Norway for fishing. She is gaff rigged and requires a sizeable
crew, but what a thing of beauty and utility. A true Viking

My understanding is that the 70 ft ketch is for sale: Norwegian wooden sailing galeas build 1914 for sale

Re: What's Your Dream Boat ?

While I'm thrilled with the two boats we have, the eye wanders....

Blond, Brunet, Redhead

The boats picture is taped to a winning lottery ticket.

68' Rudy Choy cat......fast, sleek, pretty

65' Roberts in alloy, not yet finished. Warm, cozy, solid, secure

Boreal 44' - excitement for all seasons and latitudes

Maybe I'll need a bigger winning ticket?
