Teak deck

One of the boats I'm about to look at is a Ta Shing Panda 38. Scared to death of teak decks. What should I look for other than the obvious - soft underfoot, leaks around headliner etc?

If needed any estimates of cost of replacing with fiberglass?

i can't comment on teak deck repair and installation .. but you might take a look at the Tayana 37 boats with no teak decks.
