A reversible hydraulic
pump will probably beat a electromechanical drive any day of the week, but a decent rotary drive trumps that, while an epicyclic draglink drive will kick anyone else's drive every time!
It really depends on how much you want to spend. I'd look at LS for linear drives, especially in their purpose-built combinations. They use oversize return jackets to cut hydraulic resistance, and their reversible drives are used by
