A reversible hydraulic pump will probably beat a electromechanical drive any day of the week, but a decent rotary drive trumps that, while an epicyclic draglink drive will kick anyone else's drive every time!
It really depends on how much you want to spend. I'd look at LS for linear drives, especially in their purpose-built combinations. They use oversize return jackets to cut hydraulic resistance, and their reversible drives are used by B&G.

Thank you very much, but what i really mind is if the hydraulic pump consum nuch more amps that the electrical pump. I´ve been told that hydraulic pump are agresive power consumer. does someone have any idea of consumption in amps on his own boat?
