Lippincott 30?

Just wondering if anyone here has owned or has experience with a Lippincott 30? A good friend of mine is considering buying one that needs a little.
I've looked on past threads here but there wasn't any in depth information about them, I do know there weren't a lot of them made but the boat appears to be well made and fairly stout in construction. From what I've gathered it look like Lippincott built more power boats but did also build a limited number of recreational sailboats.
Any input would be appreciated as there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on them.
He is looking for mostly bay sailing and coastal cruising use.

PS Odd to see a wheel in such a small boat. Maybe converting to a tiller could be a good idea?
