going to pay 200 US$ per head per day, skipper and 2 crew, plus air transport, food etc. from Thailand Pattaya to Penang Malaysia.
you should set an upper limit of what you're willing to pay, e.g. 2 extra days maximum for a trip that should take 5 days. up to your negotiation power.

As a freelance Delivery Skipper who raise's cruising money by doing value for money deliveries I find this statement offensive to say the least....

To those who think it is excessive, think a little more about the job. On watch 8 hours a day, on call 16 hours plus time spent provisioning, etc, etc. + Cost of liability insurance - would you work for what is effectively minimum wage rates?

You expect someone to do a professional job so don't complain if you have to pay a realistic rate!

A skippers on watch 24hrs/day... don't undersell the skippers responsibilities...
