Who is heading to FL now/soon?

We're leaving Hilton Head in a week, heading to Ft. Pierce, FL for first stop-over (haulout). Doing an inside/outside route weather and so forth dictating, not quite comfortable doing an overnight yet (on the cusp).

Thought it might be fun to communicate with or meet other CFers en route.

We're in St. Auggies municipal marina today, bouncing around. Glad I didn't take a mooring ball which was my original plan. It's rough as heck in the mooring field.

We are TARDIS a hunter 38. Left St auggies dropped the hook in Ft pierce Friday

Anyone going this way neither harbortown nor city marina have space for transient right now and harbortown fuel dock is down for repairs and dredging in the channel so no fuel, water, or pump outs there

We just crossed over to Bahamas, but yesterday we were hearing reports of Hobe sound lift bridge being stuck in the down position for an undetermined timeframe.
Hopefully it doesn't affect your trip

Hobe sound is between here and Lake Worth so did not pass it. There's only a small number of bascule's between Hilton Head and Ft. Pierce, less than a handful, so totally doable. Further south and there's one every few miles which is a giant pain.

I also saw there's a bridge down for a few days this week in Jacksonville area, there's a Waterway Guide alert on it. Did not affect us.

Sorry, I assumed you were continuing south inside. Fort Pierce to lake worth is a short day, the bridges time out easily. We had to leave fort Pierce at first light to make it under the fixed bridge at low tide.(and still brushed the antenna) we were anchored in lake worth by 1pm.
But of course Hobe sound bridge makes that impossible.

No worries. We hauled out this morning for paint. We'll continue south in a few weeks (hopefully!). Hope to go outside. I sort of like the desolation and peace of the GA and parts of N FL ICW, but south of here I dislike it.
