YOU are the problem in that situation and therefore you should remove yourself from it.

stop the "reductio ab absurdum" arguments as well. No one is naked on an aircraft in public view.

Dave

if i put myself into a situation where i know there will be nudity, a nude beach, then i am asking for it. however if i am in a crowded anchorage, and someone decides to do naked calisthenics i cannot help but be uncomfortable.

reductio ad absurdum is a tool, not my argument.

I'm not sure that Scoobert is for real. I think he is playing with provocative arguments just for the fun of it. A troll....

Good luck with that now that you have crossed out anchorages with nudity, any crime, anchoring laws, and that don't allow guns.

But fortunately for the rest of us you will just have to deal with it.

i would say the crime part, would not matter, as we have the gun part.
and anchoring laws? i don't get what your failing to convey to me.
i am betting nudity in a crowded anchorage will be someplace between rare and non-existent.

Yepper. I was admonished the other day for rising to the bait. No more. Ignore list: here comes #2.

And no, I didn't read this thread after page one. This isn't the first thread on this subject. I am what most would call a bronzed Adonis. It's fat folks I don't wanna see nekkid.

I don't even like looking at fat folks with their clothes on. :-)

Which is closer to paradise, the south of France or Mississippi? Which has more suffering? Which is most humane? Culture and sanity matter.

Scoobert,

If nudity truly bothers you, you might want to reconsider the cruising lifestyle; or cruise only close to home where others might share your views. You won't find yourself to be very comfortable visiting most anchorages.

In many of your other posts you write and complain about freedom and government over over-reach on individual rights of citizens, then here on this topic.... You desire to impose your values on others. More than half the world....mostly outside America, does not share your views towards nudity... That's just a fact.

i find the 50% to be quite misleading.

1.6 billion Muslims views are more strict then mine
1.2 billion Catholics are about the same
2 billion Chinese cannot be overlooked
1 billion Hindus

there are only 7 billion people in the world.
your fact is not very factual, if taken literally.

Scoobert this was your post in another thread.

I think you are going to find this very difficult. In most of the worlds cruising grounds there is a great deal of nudity and semi nudity. Attitudes are very different to the USA.

Given your views I think you are going to be genuinely deeply offended in many areas and will need to plan your destinations accordingly.

i bet they are different. i look forward to the differences. i doubt i will run into many people 150' from me doing naked calisthenics on their foredeck.
also i will not be seeking out this behavior.

Re: Naked sailing!

Scoobert,

The cruising lifestyle is all about getting along with your neighbors, usually folks from different countries and various backgrounds living in sometimes very close proximity.... Sometimes even naked neighbors. You seem to like to argue about almost everything, this trait....is really not compatible with the lifestyle you seek, unless your intent is to piss off, annoy or fight with everyone you meet.

You gotta loosen up a little and try to get along in the boating community.
