Re: Lifeline Netting Installation

On the bow side I used a truckers hitch to cinch the line really tight.

Re: Lifeline Netting Installation

My wife just put it on our boat did a wonderful job looks great. She bought the netting from west marine and directions were on the back of the package. She used Dacron rope around the top lifeline and attached stainless eyestraps every foot around the bottom and used Dacron their as well. I will try to post pics later if needed.

Re: Lifeline Netting Installation

I just finished the weather cloths, now will start on the gates, I think they will be canvas framed mesh panels with Velcro tabs to the pelican hook and two along the aft edge acting like a hinge of sorts. So by unhooking the gate the panel can swivel out. I have a piece of line whipped to the life lines for the pelican hook to attach, to store gate open, clear as mud? Will post pictures as soon as done, which may be a month, I've been a bit under the weather so projects are slow going.

Here is a completed picture of the net job.
