Interactive Hurricane Hole Flood Map

I was just forwarded this most interesting flood map. Center it on your location, and then play with the various surge depths (in meters). The default is 9m and Florida. Data supplied by NASA.

Re: Interactive Hurricane Hole Flood Map

Very interesting indeed.

I checked: even with 13m surge, the street where I live would be out of the water.

Re: Interactive Hurricane Hole Flood Map

We are about 60 ft. ASL, overlooking the Caicos Bank. This limestone was formed 400 ft. underwater. No reason to believe it might not once again be submerged someday. Gonna be a boating paradise.

Hello Waterworld.
