Finding a boat by flag, size, year built

Hello,


I'm looking for a particular boat. It very likely has AIS. I don't know the boat's name, but I know its flag, its make and approximate size and the year it was built. It's a pleasure craft.


Are there any sites like Marinetraffic where i can search the MMSI database for this boat giving some attributes?


Looks like at Marinetraffic i need either the name or the MMSI.






Edit: I found the vessel database at Marinetraffic, but it doesn't seem to list this boat. Also i find it unlikely that there are no pleasure craft built between 2004 and 2006 with a South African flag at all...?

Try the itu ships call sign database if you know the name

If you don't know the name its highly unlikely you'll be able to find it bar stumbling across it by accident.
Maybe a post on here giving the details you do know along with last known location may help, it is a widespread membership on CF.
