I have sailed a lot of miles and have been using an ancient Musto Ocean jacket. But more lately I have been using a lightweight Berghaus hill walking jacket as a wind and waterproof. It is nice and light easy to store and dry and carry off the boat. Anyone any thoughts?

Re: Clothing

Bill, same here. During the summer I don't really want heavy sailing jacket and salopettes. I was recently given a RN jacket which is a single layer of Gortex and proved very useful for the recent showery weather.
