Dang Jack, CFers almost saved the planet last week. Ya must have been out sailing. My suggestion of instant wake and bake for 6B folks wasn't all that popular but I'm used to that.

As a personal favor, I am not providing a link to the now closed thread. Don't bother. Really.

Ok, so you have little colder now :P Here (70deg northern Scandinavia) it's been so far the warmest winter ever, now it's been around 0 C last couple of weeks instead of 20 to -30 what used to be normal this time of year a couple decades ago..

I tried crocks this morning, they made my feet sweat.... Just tossing back a beer in the cockpit, had to look down to see if I had shorts on or not.

Call it what it is. Increased carbon levels.
I will not reply to any comment specifically, but in my worthless opinion to swallow hook, line, and sinker the contrary and conflicting theories, explanations, etc. of global warming, climate change is as bad as sticking your head in the sand and saying our use of carbon fuels is doing nothing.

TIME Mag blamed 'polar vortex' on 'global cooling' in 1974...

It's plus 7c (45f) in balmy Stockholm. I can still wear a tee-shirt and bare feet when I go onto my balcony to BBQ my dinner

Re: Can't take much more of this global warming

Question: Is the global warming research ship that's locking in ice down in Antartica going to have to wait 10,000-12,000 years for this ice age to end before it will be free again to seach for the effects of global warming??

They need a wind shift to blow the ice of the bay. It was a blizzard wind that blew in the ice.

Locals winds are significant factor with relation to Antarctic sea ice.

No it's short for anthropogenic climate change,
