Binoculars?

Back in the old days 1980's there were extensive binocular vendors at the NY Boatshow
I happened to be there when the Fujinon Marine 7 X 50 were introduced. That year it was possible to do a head to head comparison between the Fujis and the $ 1000. Steiners. The Fujis blew all of the other brands out of the water. As market break in item the Fujis wer $275. I bought them, and used the for the next 15 years with pleasure . I'm sure I'd still be useing them if they hadn't been stolen.
I recently bought a used pair of Fujinons MTRC 7 X 50s off ebay for $100. Still really good binocs. If you are only going to have one pair of binocs I recommend them highly.
I also keep some inexpensive binocs for guests and keep a set of Fujinon 12X32 Stabilized for reading distant markers

I use the 10 power Canon stabilized. Good compromise money versus quality. Fujinon better but twice as expensive. I can read mike markers. Good distance away with the stabilization. Had mine since 2004 and just change batteries occasionally.
