Autonomous “Mayflower” reaches American shores - in Canada

I found this interesting in many respects often discussed here on CF.
The “morality” of solo sailing, the requirement of repair and maintenance skills as a facet of seamanship, etc.
I was particularly tickled by the quote:

“The technology that makes up the autonomous system worked perfectly, flawlessly,” coupled with “Mechanically, we did run into problems.”
To me this reeks of a selective cognitive bias.🤪
