NE/Mid-Atlantic to Bermuda

Planning a trip to Bermuda and back in the next couple of months. If you could pick anytime from now until August for this trip, when would you go?

Done three trips to Bermuda. June/July is typically the best time, but there are no guarantee's. I've had my ears clipped either going or leaving there every time.
You'll have to cross the Gulf Stream somewhere along the route and pays to get reliable information as to where it is, as it can...and does meander considerably.

Bring a fat wallet once you get there.

FWIW, there are two Bermuda races in June this year. Maybe you tag along and enjoy the company of others going in that direction. Or maybe you avoid to not have to compete for resources once on island. Most of the race activity will be in/around Hamilton while most cruisers anchor in St. George’s

I did a race to Bermuda one year. By the next morning, not another boat was to be seen until I got to Bermuda, which I found to be very surprising.

The Annapolis to Bermuda Race is fun to watch.

I happened to be just North of Cape Charles a few years ago in the Chesapeake Bay and had just left my anchorage and was sailing WNW away from the Eastern side so I could tack back and head to Kiptopeke.

Wind was SSW which is why the boats started appearing at around 0830.

They had started on Friday afternoon and this was Saturday.

First 2 boat were a Navy 44 (Tenacious) and an Xp-44 (Sly) then the other sails started to appear.
