local/recent knowledge Cape Verde

Hello, I've searched here and noonsite and thought I'd seek some more recent knowledge about Cape Verde.

Crossing from Mindelo to Antigua and will need to provision and top up with fuel and propane before we set off. Any recommendations on where to get the best prices/quality?

Noonsite said that the charts for this area are not accurate - our boat draws 8' so I'd be very interested in local knowledge about safely getting in/out of cape verde safely.

Canaries are not an option, as it would be an 800 mile detour.

Thanks!

You might drop Alex a Swiss sailor, a message on YT. He stopped and has now stayed in CV for about 5 years, so will have the local intel on the islands.

Re: local/recent knowledge Cape Verde

friends just left yesterday. think gas was about €18 for 10Kg, market fine for provisioning. ARc & other boats rallies go through so no problems for much, they're well used to boats.
Anything specific you can join noforeignland & message one of the boats there now.

Plenty water in the anchorage, holding very good apparently.
