Ready to Motor/Sail Down the Jersey Coast Sept 1st

I will be leaving Liberty Island on or about the 1st of September weather permiting for Cape May and the ICW entry..Any Sailor wishing to join me as crew or other Sailboats making this trip please let me know and we can exchange phone #'s and boat names and sail as a group...Chris S/V Outward Bound

The NJICW can be transited. I believe there's a bridge in AC that has a height problem, but I believe the rest are 55'+. Many have transited with drafts of up to 4.5'. Just be aware of the tides...

In addition to Barnegat as a "no" inlet, add Beach Haven to the list. Local knowledge ONLY.

I did the ICW Starting in New Jersey, comming out at Atlantic city and taking the short cut through Cape May. I just made it under the twin 56' clearance bridges. It was a hunter legend 35 that only drew 4.5' and never did touch bottom until Fl. Forgot what guide I used but it was a loose leaf that you flipped the pages as you went along.
Now I live in St. Croix and cruise the near by islands.
