Bimini Arrival at 1AM. Check in first or anchor until 7AM?

First customs check in. Weather dictates ~1AM arrival at Bimini. I’d rather anchor 1/4 mile offshore with an Q flag and check in early that morning, probably from Brown’s Marina. Is this a common/accepted bend of the rules? I’m registered on Click2Clear, expected arrival date was a few days ago. Weather pushed us back.

1 am everybody is sleeping, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Keep your Q flag up and you are good to go.

Meant to say, check in ......around 8- 9 am in the morning...and you'll be fine.
